For a seasoned sailor, a voyage as passenger is a bit unsettling.
Without the endless chores of ship duty, one whiles away the time. Watching the Blood Waters fade to pink, then merely a rosy shimmer barely visible at all. Sharing dinner with the Captain & the odd "spider-eels" that call themselves Pilgrims of Corean, muttering invocations over your Cloak of Many Colours, adding strips & patches as you do so.
You have learned some about the land you will see from sailors; but only barely. You know better than to trust Sailors Tales, & you have never been especially personable anyway. Best to see this new land with your own eyes, & make of it what you will.
You know that Captains that dare the long journey have returned with wealth undreamt of; holds filled with adamantine, Mithral, Gold, & more. You know it is a savage place, where Gods & Titans alike are largely unknown. You know it has terrible deserts & wastelands, & you have come prepared.
What you did not know, is that there are no stars visible for more than a thousand miles around Asherak. While the two moons & sun still fill the sky, the night is otherwise as black as sack cloth. Navigation is a difficult thing then, as a missed course would mean a death voyage into unknown oceans.
Fortunately, Enkili seems to bless your voyage; the island kingdom the locals call Angara is visible now off the Starboard Bow, & you will drop anchor at the Holy City of Hetanu within the hour.
It has been a long year, yet your journey has only just begun.
